Nakaiya was nominated for a Christmas Wish by her aunt, Tanya. Nakaiya and her partner, Joey, care for their son, Jonah, who was born with multiple rare, lifelong medical conditions and requires around-the-clock care. Because of Jonah’s needs, Nakaiya is unable to work, while Joey supports the family full time. She was nominated for her strength, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to her son in the face of overwhelming challenges.

Wish #5 is Mireya, nominated for a Christmas Wish by her Aunt Jackie. As a single mom, Mireya has been juggling two jobs while trying to stay afloat with mounting bills. On top of everything, she’s also caring for her children, including one who is facing ongoing health challenges.
