✨tips for planning to make 2024 your best year yet✨

1️⃣ review your 2023. what were your strengths? what were your weaknesses? take some time to celebrate your wins first!

2️⃣ use your reflections to help you set some overall goals. make them specific!

3️⃣ decide how to measure your goals. for example, what would be the best metric to measure if your goal is more engagement on your posts?

4️⃣ grab your baseline number and write it down somewhere safe!

5️⃣ figure out what tools you have to help you meet those goals. if your goal is to post at least 3x/week, maybe scheduling batch days for content would help!

6️⃣ create a bank of content ideas related to your content pillars. aim for at least 30 ideas so you don't run out!

7️⃣ even the best plans won't go perfectly. create some dates in your calendar now for reviewing your plan and updating your goals throughout the year.

posting in stories can feel overwhelming because they're so much less formal (aka, authentic), but that's also what can make them more fun!

if you're stuck for ideas, save this list!

there are enough here for a whole week and they're specifically designed to be engaging and inspiring. just make sure you focus each prompt on your specific niche!

1️⃣ misconception: sharing surprising or unexpected facts do two things - 1, they interrupt and get people thinking and 2, they show you know what you're talking about!

2️⃣ share: people ✨love ✨ day in the life content - it's authentic and relatable. best of all, this one usually stays on brand effortlessly because you are simply sharing about you.

3️⃣ question box: whenever you share a part of yourself, you can start a conversation using a question box asking for people for their own input and ideas.

4️⃣ positivity: studies show that accounts that post more positive messages than negative ones have significantly more followers 😉

5️⃣ mini-tutorial: teaching in stories is ideal because you can be more long-winded than you can on reels.

6️⃣ ask: asking for input from your audience shows that you care what they think and are interested in a two-way conversation.

7️⃣ "this or that" - post two things that people have an opinion about (for example, lakes or oceans?) and let people vote. this is a low-stress way for people to share, so they're more likely to engage!
