last day of summer vacation together so i wanted to make it extra special for us 💕

we were definitely sleeping on the Tanaka Farms melon tasting tour and night market but i'm so glad we could catch it before it ends for the summer!

thank you so much to everyone who contributed to my new classroom!

i never want my students to be lacking anything no matter what background they come from, so i've always bought everything myself in the past.

but this year, starting over at a new school, finally sharing my classroom wishlist makes this start to the new school year so much more meaningful because i feel the love, support, and partnership from my community.

this boy can spot the smallest ball or circle shape from a mile away so any walking time becomes a perpetual game of i-spy for balls and circles

the wildest one we still talk about is the little ball on the top of a flagpole across a football field 🤣

he's also sort of liking cars but i'm pretty sure it's just for the wheels

had some feelings about them suddenly trying to wean him off his binky on his FIRST day back and in the toddler room without telling me because my poor baby came out with puffy eyes 😭

but all in all he's still in a good mood, so i'll take that as a win for now 🥲

i always forget how much stronger my left arm has gotten since becoming a mom because what do you mean this boy has been 25-30lb for the past year yet making bottles for him one-armed feels easier now😂
