When will the city remove all the street signs blocking Diamond Street? Her Majesty Jennifer Campbell shut down the street on her own volition when the sea wall was closed, supposedly to give people a place to walk (although residents of the street could still drive on Diamond, self-defeating the safety aspect of her decision) The boardwalk ban lifted over a year ago, and those signs are still everywhere! I have contacted her office, the Mayor's office, and received a "we'll get on it" response. I spoke with a cop, a city traffic worker, and even went into the Fire Department about this (a fire truck might find it difficult to drive around these street signs when something catches fire, ya think?). All I have gotten in response is the city's new motto "It's not my job" response. What will it take to restore normalcy to Diamond Street, and remove those eyesore signs from EVERY street corner? Feel free to use my name on this.
Please stop littering our streets with your publication. I have emailed you and asked you to avoid my home. The delivery drive just drives down the street and randomly tosses the paper as he drives. These end up in covering our sidewalks and eventually in our storm drains.

If you saw a person toss trash on the sidewalk that wouldnt be ok would it? And that is 1 piece of trash. You are doing this by the thousands.
Something every family & every family neighborhood in CA should be concerned about. If you own land or enjoy using our beaches, parks, our different neighborhood flavors, read this. Our state, our county, & our city wants to grab all available & unavailable land. They believe more people/more taxes. This will ruin us.

Just shameful. As humans, we can do better.

Residents in S. Mission beach picked up more than 120,000 pieces of trash in 2020. Read the story and see the full list of items picked up. Without these volunteers what would this city look like? did i just read an article about the tourist complaining about the homeless????????? are these the same tourists that are using up our housing as their short term vacation rentals. of course stvr's are not responsible for most of our homeless problems but they sure are a significant part of our housing problems here in the beach areas. tourism is certainly a valuable part of our economy but not when it takes up our residential housing. anyway---- it is time to start enforcing some vagrancy laws when it comes to the homeless hanging in and around the businesses . that surely is a danger to others not only fiscally but safety and health.

Hail and thunder/lightening
I really wish The Beach & Bay Press would stop littering our sidewalks, yards & driveways with their publication. Most residents don't ever pick their papers up & they end up as trash in our streets & storm drains. There has to be a better way for y'all to conduct business!
