I was fortunate to prompt the very first event at the new Ga***rd Resort—the Chula Vista State of the City on June 18, 2024. It was held on the lawn as the convention center was not quite ready. Today is my first time prompting an event here in a ballroom. Very nice facility. Big win for Chula Vista and the San Diego region to have this resort here! 👍

This was a fun event! All for a good cause! It was held in their warehouse and it got a little chilly in the back last night and my regular jacket wasn’t warm enough. Finally broke down and grabbed a moving blanket and wrapped up in that! Yeah, looks a little funky, but I was the only person in the Arctic backstage so I wasn’t worried about image… just warmth! (Note to self: get one of those big down jackets and keep in the car for these situations!)
