Sometimes the best things happen when you say yes before you know exactly what you’re saying yes to.
I was invited to Lake Havasu by Ana Paula Aguiar A someone I had only recently met. I was curious about the place, but honestly, I was hesitant. Nine people, and I only knew two of them well. So many things could have gone wrong.
But something in me said, go. Trust your intuition. Get out of your comfort zone.
I’m so grateful I did✨
From the moment we got in the car, we just clicked. Nine strong, inspiring, fun, powerful and beautifully vulnerable people, all coming together with the same intention: connect, have fun and live fully.
And we DID.
We cooked together, danced from the moment we woke up until we went to bed, played music, laughed endlessly and had the kind of meaningful conversations that stay with you.
Everyone was hands on. Cutting, cooking, cleaning, helping. It felt like we had done it a hundred times before. No drama. No competition. Just good energy, generosity and genuine connection.
We brought the vibes everywhere we went.
Riding that boat at 100 mph took me right back to being a kid on my dad’s boat. One of those unexpected moments that makes you realize how much life is made of little memories coming full circle.
But one of my favorite parts of the entire weekend?
We disconnected.
Our phones stayed down. Social media stayed behind. And we were completely, fully PRESENT.
I truly believe there is something powerful about that. When we stop documenting every moment, we actually get to LIVE it.
And somehow, in just a few days, strangers became friends, friends became family, and I left feeling incredibly grateful for every single person who was part of this weekend.
I came home with a full heart, a happy soul and a whole lot of new memories.
Here’s to saying yes.
To trusting your intuition.
To getting out of your comfort zone.
To real connection.
And to getting busy living.
What a weekend. ♥️🙌🏾✨
