Recreating a viral video idea with my girls was SO much fun. 😂✨

There’s something special about building a strong community around you. Supporting each other’s businesses, sharing the love, creating together, and cheering each other on.

Thank you, BORN TO ROCK® Jewelry for choosing me again to create together. And thank you to these beautiful girls for showing up, bringing the energy, and making it so much fun.

Good people, good energy, creativity, and community. That’s my kind of workday. 🤘❤️

I got to watch this little baby come to life. ✨

These photos were taken when Little While was still under construction, when they were scratching ideas and dreaming up what it could become.

Fast forward… recently opened and already named one of San Diego’s Top 5 coffee shops. And I totally get why.

☕️ Seriously good coffee
🥐 Incredible pastries
✨ Attention to every detail
🤍 The kind of service that makes you want to come back

So proud of the whole sweetandsavorycollective team behind this one.

Haven’t been yet? Go get the treat, enjoy the coffee and stay… just a little while. 😉

Genius concept. 🙌🏾✨

There’s something funny about the whole vintage trend…

We’re using the most advanced technology to recreate the look and feel of an era when that technology didn’t even exist.

And that’s exactly what made this campaign so much fun.

My client/friend 𝔹𝕒𝕣𝕓𝕒𝕣𝕒 the creator behind Use Your Words Project | Intentional Clothing created the Vintage Girl tee as a little love letter to an era we sometimes miss.

A time when we felt more connected.
More grounded.
When life was simpler.
Less busy.
And maybe a little more present.

I connected with the idea immediately. I’ve always loved vintage clothes and often find myself choosing something with a story and character over something mass produced.

So she found the perfect vinyl bar Sound by the Sea , turned up the music, grabbed our cameras and brought Vintage Girl to life.

The best part? We didn’t have to create the vintage feeling. We were already living it.

Thank you, Babi, for creating something that brought all these feelings to life and for trusting me to capture it. ❤️

And thank you, Erica Bemfica Guimarães Studio E Co. , for all the BTS, your help during the shoot and for being part of the fun behind the scenes.

Raise your hand if you are Vintage Girl Club 🙋🏽‍♀️✨

Sometimes the best things happen when you say yes before you know exactly what you’re saying yes to.
I was invited to Lake Havasu by Ana Paula Aguiar A someone I had only recently met. I was curious about the place, but honestly, I was hesitant. Nine people, and I only knew two of them well. So many things could have gone wrong.
But something in me said, go. Trust your intuition. Get out of your comfort zone.
I’m so grateful I did✨
From the moment we got in the car, we just clicked. Nine strong, inspiring, fun, powerful and beautifully vulnerable people, all coming together with the same intention: connect, have fun and live fully.
And we DID.
We cooked together, danced from the moment we woke up until we went to bed, played music, laughed endlessly and had the kind of meaningful conversations that stay with you.
Everyone was hands on. Cutting, cooking, cleaning, helping. It felt like we had done it a hundred times before. No drama. No competition. Just good energy, generosity and genuine connection.
We brought the vibes everywhere we went.
Riding that boat at 100 mph took me right back to being a kid on my dad’s boat. One of those unexpected moments that makes you realize how much life is made of little memories coming full circle.
But one of my favorite parts of the entire weekend?
We disconnected.
Our phones stayed down. Social media stayed behind. And we were completely, fully PRESENT.
I truly believe there is something powerful about that. When we stop documenting every moment, we actually get to LIVE it.
And somehow, in just a few days, strangers became friends, friends became family, and I left feeling incredibly grateful for every single person who was part of this weekend.
I came home with a full heart, a happy soul and a whole lot of new memories.
Here’s to saying yes.
To trusting your intuition.
To getting out of your comfort zone.
To real connection.
And to getting busy living.
What a weekend. ♥️🙌🏾✨

A little color, a lot of flavor 🌮✨

La Doña Cantina brings the vibrant flavors of Guadalajara and Baja California to life in every dish. Colorful, playful, full of personality, and definitely a feast for the eyes.

I’ve had the pleasure of helping bring their dishes to life through photography since they first opened, and it’s always so much fun capturing food with this much character.

Good food deserves good photos… and these dishes (and drinks) make my job pretty easy. 🤩

Today is World Photography Day, and I want to celebrate every single photographer and creator out there.

I am constantly inspired by so many of you. 🤩✨

People often think this job is all fun and creativity, and while it absolutely can be, there are also long days, challenges, uncertainty, self doubt, and a lot of hard work behind the scenes.

And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.🤗

I love what I do. I love that my camera has allowed me to meet incredible people, tell meaningful stories, and help bring someone else’s vision and dream to life.✨

To every client who has trusted me over the years, thank you. You helped me build a career that I’m incredibly proud of.♥️

But the best part of this journey has been the community.

The photographers, creators, chefs, restaurant owners, marketers, and small business owners who believe in supporting one another.

My entire business was built through word of mouth, recommendations, and genuine connections.🙌🏾

We share opportunities. We cheer each other on. We recommend one another.

There is no competition in my creative hub. There is room for everyone.

Kindness goes a long way, and this community proves that every single day.

Happy World Photography Day. Keep creating. ❤️

The best part about living in San Diego? Mexico is literally next door. 🇲🇽♥️

Yesterday’s adventure started with a trolley ride across the border with my friend Juliana Rillos who jumped right into the adventure, to finally try Restaurante Caesar’s Tijuana the original Caesar salad where it was invented. And let me tell you… Americans completely ruined the recipe 😱 The original version was absolutely outstanding. Honestly, one of the best salads I’ve ever had.✨

The food was incredible, but what always stands out to me in Mexico is the hospitality. The service is just different, and it’s something I always appreciate.

After lunch, we spent a couple hours walking around TJ exploring… 🤩

And the cherry on top? Crossing back into the U.S. took us less than 5 minutes thanks to Global Entry and our SENTRI passes. Without it, the wait could have easily been 3 hours.

Who would come with me next time? 🙋🏽‍♀️

POV: You live in Mission Bay during king tide, so you go location scouting at 10 p.m. 🌊📸

Tonight we survived another king tide! 😂

I had to go see for myself how high the water was getting in my neighborhood. Thankfully, it wasn’t as crazy as I expected, but the high water definitely created some pretty cool photo opportunities.

What you see: a perfect scoop of Stella Jean’s Ice Cream Mixed Berry ice cream. 🍓🍦
What you don’t see: everything it took to get the shot. 😅

From styling the ingredients and creating the scene to chasing the right light, capturing movement and making every little detail look delicious… food photography is so much more than taking a picture.
This reel gives you a little behind the scenes of the creative process I love most: turning ingredients into a visual story.
And on a hot summer Monday in San Diego, with the kids back at school, there’s honestly no better time for ice cream. ☀️
Quick note: the Mixed Berry flavor was a special weekend collab with Summer Fridays and is no longer available. But the summer flavors are still here, and trust me… they’re all SO good.
Summer in San Diego + Stella Jean’s = pretty much perfection. 🙋🏽‍♀️✨
