Hello & Welcome to East County Emergency Updates, I was born & raised in Santee, CA & 47 years later & after marrying & raising my family, I'm still here!! I love living in San Diego & all it has to offer & that's why in May 2014 & as social media & Facebook grew I realized our city was lacking a safe, reliable & trustworthy resource truly dedicated to the safety & well-being of those living, work

ing & playing within our communities & neighborhoods. So after being known as a "scanner junkie" or the "go-to-gal" to my friends & family for as long as I can remember & who they'd reach out to for info, along with much encouragement....ECEU was officially created & here we are, 8 years later with over 68,100+ supportive & very active Followers who depend on ECEU around the clock, each & everyday!! As we all can agree, over the years since ECEU was created our world has changed immensely, especially within this past year forcing us to change as well & as many are still learning to adapt to our "new" norm & the same goes for ECEU. What started as an "EMERGENCY" page hence the name, became even more evident East County as a whole was seriously lacking a responsible & reliable resource for other matters that didn't quite qualify as a "true" emergency. However, ECEU & it's name had already established themselves as that valuable resource & changing or adding to our name was not in the best interest of our page & dedicated Followers. So while ECEU continues to grow into much more than just a source for emergency info only, our posts now include what many feel not to be "emergency" related, though our name has remained the same, along with our "purpose & mission." ECEU is a "ONE-STOP" resource for a variety of information, including updates on real-time, recent & past incidents in East County & NOW other San Diego areas including: ALPINE, CAMPO, DEHESA, EL CAJON, FLINN SPRINGS, JAMUL, LAKESIDE, LA MESA, LAWSON VALLEY, LEMON GROVE, PINE VALLEY, POWAY, RAMONA, RANCHO SAN DIEGO, SAN DIEGO, SANTEE, SPRING VALLEY & other surrounding communities including those in our beautiful back country.
