Linda Nye has been providing technology visualization and animation for biomedical, pharmaceutical, computer, museum and aerospace clients for 25 years. 3D and 2D computer animation also provide a common visualization tool for multimedia, internet, broadcast, advertising, and DVD training. Clients range from: Publishers; New York Times, McGraw-Hill, Time-Life, National Geographic, Scholastic, Inc.

Many research and non-profit organizations such as Biocom and the UCSD Biomedical Library have utilized her visualizations for interior graphics. As a member of the Association of Medical Illustrators and a member of the Society of Illustrators and Air Force Art Program, Linda has won many awards from the National Science Foundation, Communications Arts, Society of Illustrators, AMI, Print Magazine, and the Rx Club. She has served on numerous boards, including the Society of Illustrators and the International Aerospace Hall of Fame and her paintings have been exhibited internationally.

Mans’ ability to visualize objects and their transformations in space is critical component of our intelligence. It makes possible the planning of actions and anticipation of outcomes – which is the basis of science and the scientific method. It is accepted in developmental psychology that the way we see shapes our brains. The way our brain sees shapes our knowledge- this is the Minds’ Eye.
