Listen Local was established in San Diego in October of 2003 by singer/songwriter, entertainment coordinator and radio personality, Cathryn Beeks. Her mission continues: to get music lovers out and listening to the amazing music being created in San Diego, The High Desert, and beyond. For almost 2 decades, Listen Local has worked to promote interest from the public, offer exposure, networking opportunities and support services for artists and venues and to generally help perpetuate the local music community.
