AAOS is the world's largest medical association of musculoskeletal specialists serving more than 39,000 members worldwide, and conducts an Annual Meeting with approximately 30,000 participants attending from across the globe. Over 650 companies displays their products and services.
Zimmer Biomet is a medical device company attended to AAOS Conference and Exhibition at San Diego Convention Center. They took the opportunity to engage with attendees by giving free bike taxi rides to the huge crowds attending AAOS convention. The bikes were strategically placed in key areas around the convention, and major hotels such as Hyatt and Marriott where they provided complimentary rides to tired attendees. During the ride the drivers were able to distribute promotional literature, and talk to the riders about Zimmer Biomet.
This campaign was a big hit and many people enjoyed the free rides. Fully wrapped canopy pedicabs created a large presence around the convention center. The client had busy booth traffic and they said that this was the best sponsorship they have ever done. Once again, our unique service pleased another exhibitor.

Targeting attendees at major conventions and trade shows like Comic-Con can be one of the most effective ways for businesses and products to reach an audience of industry specific decision makers, because they are concentrated in one area for a short period of time.
Branded pedicabs with brand ambassadors dressed in DragonBall uniforms asking attendees to take selfie pictures inside the pedicab and post it to their Facebook for a chance to win prices. Using canopy pedicabs which combined with a complete artwork design made the advertising stand out in the crowd. Brand ambassadors/team drivers also handed out promotional items.
