Motherhood has a way of refining us, doesn’t it? 💕 I’ve killed some versions of myself to be this calm - the frazzled, anxious, and overwhelmed ones. With each tantrum mediated, each sleepless night navigated, and each worry weathered, I’ve slowly shed the skin of my former self. The process hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it. In the chaos of parenting, I’ve discovered a reservoir of patience, a depth of love, and a sense of calm that I never knew I had. And though some parts of me have died, I’m more alive than ever. 🌟

One of the most painful realities of having a narcissistic parent is the ripple effect it can have on family relationships. For some of us, it means losing connections with siblings who, in their own struggles or denial, may choose to align with the toxic parent. It’s a heartbreaking and often isolating experience, as the very people who should be our closest allies become distant or even adversaries. I’ve walked this path myself, losing contact with a brother who chose to side with our narcissistic mom, and it’s a grief that lingers, a loss that cuts deep.❤️‍🩹

There’s tired. 🙋🏽‍♀️
Then there’s pregnancy tired. 🤰🏽
Then there’s pregnancy in the summer tired. ☀️
Then there’s pregnancy with a toddler tired. 🤹‍♀️
AND THEN... there’s pregnancy in the summer with TWO toddlers tired 🤯👶👶 (currently living in this stage 😂)
