We’re digging the old wells of revival in San Diego again.

In the 1990s and early 2000s, the fires of revival swept through this city through gatherings connected to Revive San Diego, with voices like Dr’s Rodney & Adonica Howard-Browne, Evangelist Tim Hall, and Pastor Mark Spitsbergen of Abiding Place Ministries, calling this region into awakening, evangelism, miracles, and the power of the Holy Ghost.

Those meetings shook this city with hunger for God, signs and wonders, salvations, and unity in the Body of Christ.

But I believe what is coming now will be even greater.

There is a sound rising again in San Diego. God is awakening this city once more. The wells are being reopened. The hungry are coming. The addicted, the brokenhearted, the sick, the bound, and the frustrated are going to encounter the tangible power and love of Jesus Christ.

We are believing for a Great Awakening that will shake this city, this state, and this nation. A move of God that will awaken the giant and destroy the works of darkness by the power of the Holy Ghost.

Bring the sick. Bring the hurting. Bring those who need freedom. Bring those who need Jesus.

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me… to proclaim liberty to the captives.” Isaiah 61:1

The drunk. The addicted. The homeless. The forgotten.
Jesus is touching ALL of them.

This is not religion.
This is POWER.

Revival doesn’t start in a crowd, it starts in a person. One man, one woman who refuses to live casual, who contends in prayer, who separates themselves unto God, who chooses to live holy and clean before the Lord.

Revival is not hype. Revival is not emotion. Revival is the result of consecration.

The Bible says in James that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. That word fervent means burning, boiling, on fire. That’s not passive prayer, that’s contending prayer.

Holiness is not a suggestion. Holiness is obedience. The Bible says in 1 Peter 1:16, “Be holy, for I am holy.” That’s not optional, that’s a command.

You can’t carry fire and live compromised. You can’t walk in power and live in disobedience. God doesn’t anoint mixture, He anoints surrender.

Revival comes when a person says, “God, whatever You want, I’ll do it. Whatever You say, I’ll obey it.
No matter the cost.”

Clean hands. Pure heart. A life set apart. Amen

The battlefield is your mind. That’s where the enemy comes first. But the Bible already told you what to do. Romans 12:2 says be transformed by the renewing of your mind. If your mind isn’t renewed, your life won’t change. 2 Corinthians 10:5 says take every thought captive and make it obey Christ. That means you don’t let thoughts run you, you run them through the Word.

The devil has no power over a believer who knows the Word and stands on it. James 4:7 says submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee. Not might flee. He will flee. You don’t negotiate with the devil. You don’t entertain his thoughts. You refuse him, you resist him, and you replace every lie with the truth of God’s Word.

If it doesn’t line up with Scripture, it doesn’t stay in your mind. Period.
