In 1981, Gregory Hines and Judith Jamison delivered unforgettable performances in the Broadway production of Sophisticated Ladies at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. The show, a tribute to the music and legacy of Duke Ellington, featured a remarkable cast and celebrated the smooth elegance and rhythms of jazz.
