I unofficially began my career in photography while backpacking through Southeast Asia in 2007, where I found myself enjoying the newness of everyday experiences in the unfamiliar settings of Cambodia and Thailand. Upon my return I began to use photography to revisit the feeling of viewing ordinary life through an extraordinary medium, promoting the
feeling that comes with travel. Shortly after my portfolio was reviewed at the Corcoran Gallery of Art during Fotoweek 2010, I decided to pursue my passion full-time. Originally educated in the fields of psychology and child development, I have a keen interest in the human condition and enjoy altering perceptions of daily life through my more creative work today. I am currently a freelance photographer based in Washington, DC specializing in creative, commercial and travel photography. My client list includes numerous local, national and global organizations such as Hyatt Hotels and Resorts and Exceptional Parent Magazine, where my work was featured in conjunction with my articles on the Wounded Warrior Project and the Bowen Foundation for Autism.
