The Producer Joe Show is BACK! As of right now, next week I will have the legend, Ted Leitner on!
We did try this once before but there were technical glitches.
If Ted cannot make it, I have another ready to go.

My goal in 2026: To increase subscribers on YouTube. (I am not making money, it's just for my passion project here)

To be honest, it's hard to get subscribers on YouTube. If you can do me a huge solid, please subscribe to my channel.... It's free. You may need to create an account, but maybe not. I'm not totally sure.

Well, I am stoked. (Backstory) I was a writer, I would report on all things radio and local TV. Anything that happened on or off air, personnel changes, job postings etc... it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately after the shutdown, all my little birdies who fed me information lost their jobs. It sucked on many levels because I really liked all those good people.
So I no longer had enough info to keep the column alive. So I needed something new to fill my hobby time after my 'regular job'.
So I began producing podcasts and eventually hosting my own.
Many years ago I was a member of the San Diego Press Club and actually did win a couple of awards. I decided earlier this year to rejoin the Club and I did submit two podcasts for consideration in this year's awards ceremony, one was an episode with "Shotgun Tom" Kelly featuring legendary voice over artist Neil Ross. Another was my interview with the producer of ALL of the Batman films (and Joker), Michael Uslan.
I received an email from SDPC and I guess I won! Not sure which award, or for which episode, but in October I guess I will find out when I get to the awards ceremony.

Story time!
So we gave our friend Jenny Currier a dozen eggs. She called us, frantic one evening and sent us a picture of an egg she cracked. NASTY!
She said is smelled horrific and obviously it didn't look right.
I had never seen this before and we couldn't figure it out.
I have to admit we got a little lazy collecting them in a timely manner, and they were probably going bad out there.
Well, we decided to collect them ALL and toss them.
While putting them into the grocery bag, one of the eggs inside the bag POPPED@ Like, really really loud! So loud, in fact, Amy, who was across the yard heard it! She asked if I was ok, yeah, but an egg had exploded. It smelled SO BAD!
So we have a pact now, ALL eggs will be collected daily and holy crap this was a learning moment and we have Jenny to thank!!!
