'The World is a Skatepark' shares the work and stories of legendary skateboarding photographer J. Grant Brittain. In his 40 years as a photographer, he captured some of the most iconic images in skate history, documenting the rise of future pro skaters like Tony Hawk.

Excited to release the news that our film THE ROOTS OF LACROSSE will premiere on Oct.20th, and repeated on Oct 24th, as part of San Diego Film Week on KPBS, that features three episodes highlighting 10 short films covering a variety of topics including immigration, identity, arts, and sports. The San Diego Film Awards are presented annually by the Film Consortium San Diego to recognize the excellence of student, independent and professional filmmakers, talent, and crew in the San Diego film industry. Established in 2014, it is the only local awards show that recognizes cast, crew, and filmmakers for their achievements in the previous calendar year.

The Morning Passing on El Cajón Boulevard' is about Julie, an ambitious second-generation Vietnamese American funeral director working in City Heights, known as the refugee neighborhood of San Diego. Julie is used to managing funerals every week, but after the unexpected passing, Julie seeks help from Đồ Thái Uyên, a San Diego legend who has managed funerals (and taxes) for southeast Asian families since the 1980s. A brief and intimate glimpse into the ways refugee families mourns the loss of loved ones far from their homelands.

Did you know the popular movie "Some Like It Hot" directed by the legendary Billy Wilder and starring Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe was technically set in Florida, but filmed at the Hotel Del Coronado because of its preserved original construction and architecture from 1888.
