What radicalized me?

I do NOT care of someone sits on their butt, refuses to work hard, and collects government benefits.

Is it a shame? Absolutely. Is that person wasting their potential? Probably.

But I don’t care. Because in a society we have to make important decisions. There’s no such thing as perfect policy. So we must choose what sets of problems we want to live with.

I’m not stupid. I know people take advantage of programs. It’s a problem. But it’s a problem I’d prefer to live with compared to the alternative—where people who desperately need help don’t get it because we are so focused on making sure no one gets more than they “deserve.”

It’s not a perfect system. My idea comes with problems. Personally, I just think these are better problems.

🚨 URGENT: After alleging rampant “fraud,” the Trump administration now says it will require all SNAP recipients to reapply for food assistance, even if they have already been approved.
This will place a MASSIVE financial and administrative burden on a program that is already reeling from Trumps record-breaking government shutdown. Further, Trump has fought all the way to the Supreme Court to interrupt benefits.

He already got all the concessions he wanted from Democrats this week. So at this point, I’m not sure why he’s doing this.

We need to be very clear about what makes someone a “child.” Because there is no gray area here.

I sue creeps who prey on children at work. The excuses are always the same. But excuses are not facts. The FACT is that is a child.

Universal healthcare just makes sense.

The United States spends more money on healthcare per capita than any other nation. Americans who can afford healthcare pay more out of pocket every month, for less coverage, than anyone else.

And for all this money, we get less. Much less.

Of the 38 member-states in the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the United States ranks DEAD LAST in healthcare. And it’s not even close. Where the U.S. barely provides coverage, at extraordinary cost, to just 13% of its population, the section worst performer, Mexico, provides coverage to about 50%.

For the other nations, 90% coverage is considered cause for concern.

That’s how badly our for-profit system is failing us. It’s time to do what literally every other developed nation does.

Healthcare for all.

Company fired my client right after she reported harassment. They said things “just aren’t working out.” Then they hired some do**us to LIE for them, claiming that because she was AT WILL, then they could fire her ANY REASON, even NO REASON.
He got so fired up he called me an ambulance chaser on the call!
Here’s my response: At Will means you can be fired for any LEGAL reason. If you fired my client because she reported harassment, that’s illegal in all 50 states. It doesn’t matter what the company’s excuse is—because an excuse is not a fact!

If it’s all a hoax, why not release the evidence that would exculpate you? Why fight so hard to hide the very thing that could prove your innocence? Why assigns so many agents to work round the clock flagging any records that mention you?

Not the sort of thing that innocent people typically do.

Frankly, I’m sick of the chaos, the crime, the lying, the cruelty. This isn’t leadership. It’s full scale destruction. It needs to stop.

8 Democrats in the Senate agreed to switch sides, giving in to Republican demands in exchange for reopening the government. Republicans promised that they would hold a vote on extending protections for Americans’ healthcare.

Technically they fulfilled the promise, they did hold a vote after all.

And they overwhelmingly voted NO.

Meanwhile, Trump is still fighting to block SNAP food assistance. Senate Dems gave up everything in exchange for nothing 👎

Trump is violating international law. You can’t just blow people up on the mere ACCUSATION that they are trafficking drugs.

Americas (former?) allies are taking notice, and they don’t want to be implicated in these crimes.

The last time the BLS produced a jobs report Trump didn’t like, he fired the commissioner or labor statistics and tried to replace her with a loyalist from the Heritage Foundation.

To make matters worse, DOGE wreaked havoc on the agency, slashing essential resources as heavily damaging critical infrastructure and data. This means that even if the data gets reported by the federal government, there are serious concerns about its credibility.

And this may be intentional.

A report from Goldman Sachs estimates that the U.S. lost 50,000 jobs in October.

Do you think we will ever get accurate numbers? And what do you think if the theory that Trump is hiding economic problems so he doesn’t “look bad?”
