In this mockumentary ex-mobster “Cookie”, the first person ever inserted into the Federal Witness Protection Program, is kicked out 50 years later. With his life no longer protected and bankrolled by the government he now has to learn how to survive on his own.

What sets “Killing Cookie” apart is not only its powerful soundtrack powered by the team at GameRunnaZ, but also the fact that it was entirely independently written, directed, and produced by the incredibly talented Ryan Wise. This creative freedom allowed Wise to bring his vision to life without any compromises, resulting in a truly unique cinematic experience.

J.T. Pender, with help of a fresh newcomer and studio guitarist Anton Russkikh, made a masterfully themed and blended Americana style soundtrack infused with Mandolin and even subtle hints of Hip Hop elements.

GameRunnaZ Records is an independent music production and publishing company based out of San Diego, CA.

Founded by recording artist and music producer Jacoby “J.T.” Pender in the Northwest, GameRunnaZ has moved to the sunshine of Southern California to further expand its music production, distribution, and record label services.

GameRunnaZ Records prides itself on experimenting with new influences and sounds to break the barriers of “urban” music. We are an open-minded label with an eclectic team that is always ready to push the limits of recording and production.

Under GameRunnaZ Records, GameRunnaZ Publishing offers a pre-cleared, original, urban music library for our clients in TV & Film Programming. Clients have found that the hands-on, highly detailed attention they get in finding the right music for their programs is irreplaceable. As an independent music publisher, GameRunnaZ can make great things happen faster without the bureaucracy and setbacks of licensing with larger companies. We are able to custom tailor production as our clients need them, even during production, and this happens in a more cost-effective way for their budgets.
