September is Su***de Prevention Month — and it hits different.

Every day, we lose veterans to su***de. Not strangers — brothers and sisters we served with. People who made it home but never made it back.

That's why this truck wears on the door. That's why the windshield says VETERANS • FAMILY • COMMUNITY. Rhogue isn't just a build — she's a conversation starter. Because some talks only happen when the tailgate is down.

This month isn't about one month. It's about the other eleven, too. So here's my ask:

Check on your buddy. The strong one. The quiet one. The one who "seems fine." One text. One call. One tailgate conversation. It costs you nothing and it might mean everything.

And if you're the one struggling — you're not weak, you're human. Call or text 988. Any time. Someone will answer.

We ride together. We heal together. 🤝

— Jeff

The title of Chief Petty Officer carries over 130 years of naval heritage, born from a need for steadfast leadership on April 1, 1893. Earning those fouled anchors in 2018 remains one of the most profound milestones of my 22 years of active duty service. From the decks of the USS Enterprise to deployments in the Middle East and Bagram, the lessons learned in the Chief's Mess were the true anchor of my career.

Today, across the fleet, a new generation of leaders steps up. The pinning ceremony isn't just an advancement; it is the culmination of relentless perseverance and the acceptance of the immense responsibility to advocate for your Sailors.

To the newly pinned Chiefs: Welcome to the Mess. Wear those anchors with the weight of the history they represent. ⚓️🇺🇸

Welcome to Rhogue Ram. 👊

I'm Jeff — retired Navy Chief, 22 years in uniform, now a veteran mental health advocate and Mission22's California lead.

This page follows two things: my 2025 Ram RHO "Rhogue" (currently wrapped in purple and turning heads all over San Diego), and the mission behind it.

After 22 years, I know what the weight looks like. Too many of our brothers and sisters carry it alone. So I do ride-alongs, show up at events, and use this truck as a conversation starter to get veterans talking — and connected to help.

Here's what you'll see here:
🚙 Build updates and mods on the RHO
🎗️ Veteran advocacy, events, and Mission22 work
📍 Ride-alongs and meetups around SoCal

If you're a veteran who's struggling: you're not alone, and you're not a burden. Call or text 988, then press 1.

Follow the page, share it with someone who needs to see it. Let's roll.

25 years ago today.

They were in 3rd grade. 5th grade. Watching it on a TV cart in the classroom.

They didn't understand it then. But they never forgot it.

At 18, they raised their hand anyway and went to the war that started that morning.

This is for the men and women who were just kids on 9/11 and grew up to serve because of it.

For those who never came home from that war.

And for those who came home carrying that war inside them - and the war took them later.

We remember both today.

If you served after 9/11 - you are part of this anniversary. Whether anyone thanked you or not, you answered when you were still just a kid.

Today, honor them by checking on one of them.

Call your battle. Sit on his porch. Two cups. No fixing. Just here.

He made it home. Make sure he feels like he's still home.

The boots by the door mean he's still fighting, just a different battle.

You don't need the right words. You need to show up at the porch.

You weren't forged in a clinic. You were forged by the person next to you.

No rank. No fixing. Just two chairs and someone who stayed.

Who stayed for you? Tag them below. They need to know he mattered.

Follow so you have it when you need it, not when you're searching for it.
