What a very special night. Gracias to SDSU Research Foundation for honoring me with the Jack White Excellence in Journalism Award. Jack White was an inspiration and San Diego News legend at ABC 10News San Diego | KGTV Channel 10 for decades! I had the honor of working with him when I arrived so many years ago. His wife was there tonight. We were surrounded by some awesome professors Lourdes Cueva Chacón David Coddon Ross Schmitz Weiss
