The Marketing Melodie brand was launched as a blog in 2008 for me to document everything I was learning about digital marketing and social media. Less than a year later it morphed into a company when people kept asking me questions about social media and I was getting requests to speak at tech conferences. How is is already the first day of school!? Our summer was busy, chaotic and fun but all 3 kids were ready for the 2025-2026 school year.

Cayley is going into 2nd grade with a brand new teacher. Millie is starting kindergarten with one of our favorite teachers. Even though she was nervous, Cayley has taught her all the ropes to have an amazing kindergarten year. Charlie has moved up in preschool to the mixed preschool/pre-k class! At 3 years old, he is the youngest in his class. He was also a little nervous but he is advanced for his age so we are confident he will fit right in. We are blessed with another year of only having 1 drop off/ 1 pick up.

Happy 5th Birthday Millie Lin!! She is the sweetest, most generous girl. I'm so proud of how much she's grown this past gear.

We celebrated her big day in Las Vegas! Millie woke up to a pile of presents and treats, plus it was her day to do whatever she wanted! She spent most of the morning sharing her birthday gifts with her siblings! They played with slime, made a bracelet craft, did activity books and ate Oreos plus birthday lucky charms for breakfast.

Next Millie wanted to go to a fun play place! When we got back she wanted to go swimming then shower with surprise bath bombs. For dinner she requested a buffet with lots of desserts so we did just that.

It brings me so much joy to create memorable celebrations for our family! Wishing Millie an amazing year!

Wishing my sweet Baby Cayley a happy birthday! Summer Solstice will always be a special day for us! It's the day I became a mom 7 years ago and the day Cayley was born.

This weekend was all about celebrating Cayley. She did all of her favorite things which included opening dozens of presents, eating and playing arcade games at Corvette Diner, going to Chuck-E-Cheese, swimming at grandma's pool, going to the playground, enjoying lots of dessert and more!

Earlier this month, we also had a school celebration with her classmates. Cayley brought ice cream to share and bravely sat in front of the room to read her friends a story. She is a voracious reader and it has become a birthday tradition for her to share a book on her special day.

We are proud of Cayley and all of her accomplishments this year. We can't want to see what she will do as she starts her life as a 7 year old!

We survived spring break 2025 in Hawaii! This year my top priority is quality family time. I work a ton, so day to day I don't get as much time with my family as I'd like. Being able to plan special experiences is a way to keep us all connected.

I want to create memorable experiences for us and as my kids grow, this is becoming more and more important. My wish is that they will continue to want to take vacations with their parents even when they are more independent.

We had a great time visiting Maui during spring break. Here are some of my favorite memories from the trip captured in photos.

Now we are gearing up for Summer break that starts in less than 2 weeks!

On Memorial Day, our family got to experience a fun day off. We decided last minute to drive up to LA the night before, ate dinner out and enjoyed a day at the LA County Fair on Monday. We have only been to the Del Mar Fair and assumed LA was going to be super crowded but we were extremely impressed with how spacious this fair was. I enjoyed checking out their many expo halls of exhibits and of course the kids loved the treats and rides!

I do want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude to the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Our freedom to enjoy a fun day off would not have been possible without them.

I created a Mother's Day tradition to capture a photo while wear coordinating outfits with my babies every year. I love looking back on these photos while remembering where we were at in life and then seeing how far we've come a year later. Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! We had an early celebration on Friday at our pre-schools's Tea party. Our littles performed a song for us and presented us with the cutest handmade gifts. We then enjoyed tea, treats and quality family time.

Here's to all the amazing moms navigating the beautiful chaos of motherhood!

I recently had a chance to take Millie on a special mommy daughter Disneyland trip! It was filled with her favorite activities including Toontown character meet & greets, running around to find all the hidden play areas and of course rides! She had the best time visiting both Disneyland and California Adventure with her own agenda, not having to worry about what her siblings wanted to do.

We booked a room to stay in that night so we could wind down in peace after a busy day, enjoyed breakfast at our hotel and even found a fun kid's play place in the area to burn off energy before the drive home.

I often work long hours and don't get to spend as much quality time with my kids as I would like on a daily basis, so creating these special trips with core memories is such a treat that I'm beyond grateful for. I look forward to continuing these traditions as they grow up and trust that they will continue to look forward to spending quality time with me as well.

2nd Annual Spring Break Mommy daughter trip with my oldest was a success!

I rotate taking my kids out for one on one time and this time it was Cayley's turn. (Last time was Disneyland with Millie which I'll share photos of soon too).

Last year we did a Disney cruise. While we decided to save money this year, we still had an amazing time! We did a 3 day staycation in Orange County/North County San Diego. The first night I had a work engagement in Orange County so Cayley came with me to my business event and we booked an Airbnb in the area to enjoy an at home spa evening after work. Complete with fancy nails, facials, relaxing and enjoying snacks, we loved our girls night in!

The next day we hit up Boomers for rides, mini golf, laser tag and go carts! Then we checked in to a hotel with a nice pool for swimming and ended it with movie night while eating her dinner of choice, chicken nuggets frosty and lots of snacks.

On our final day, we slept in, enjoyed a nice breakfast at our hotel, got dressed up and had a scrumptious mommy and me high tea party. I love creating special memories with my kids and look forward to more amazing experiences with them for years to come!

Here is a glimpse of our glorious Easter Day spent with family and friends! Started with an inspiring service to remind us of why we are celebrating. Then brunch and egg hunt hosted by a wonderful family friend and after all that the kids got a visit from the Easter bunny at home!
