Digital Impact And

Digital Impact And Digital Impact & is a full service communications firm in San Diego ready to help you develop result

Digital Impact & is a Downtown San Diego production studio and digital agency helping socially responsible businesses, non-profits, and elected officials tell stories that matter. We do two things: produce professional content (podcasts, campaign videos, documentaries) and run the paid and organic campaigns that put that content in front of the right audiences. We operate as an extension of your communications team, building the infrastructure your organization needs to turn content into measurable results.

A customer lands on a product page, thumb hovering over the screen. πŸ“±

She skips the paragraph of specs. She skips the PDF manual. She taps play on the 30-second video instead.

63% of consumers say a short video is how they'd rather learn about a product or service. Text articles get 12%. Infographics get 7%. Sales calls, ebooks, and webinars each sit at 4-5%.

That's not a close race. 🎬

If your product still lives behind a wall of text, customers are working harder than they should to understand it. Book a studio tour and see what a short video could do for yours.

Katie's already got two cameras up and the lighting dialed in before the guest even walks through the door.

That's the part nobody sees.

Recording is only one part of the process. Once it wraps, Hurrican gets to work shaping all those hours of footage into something worth watching. 🎧🎬

You'd think a production studio is the last place you'd want a dog running loose near the cables. 🐾

Turns out that's exactly where the best episodes happen. Laura brought her two dogs into the studio for a new Coronado Is Not An Island with David The Dog Trainer, and the crew got zero work done for the first ten minutes. πŸ˜‚

Some days the best content on set walks in on a leash. Anyone else had a coworker steal an entire meeting without saying a word? 🐢

The most interesting studio conversation I had last week was not with a marketer. It was with an operations lead whose real problem is that every new hire eats weeks of a manager's time before they are productive.

Video onboarding cuts ramp time by roughly 50%. Record the series once at DIA Live Studio, then deploy it for every new hire for the next two to three years. One production. Compounding return.

If your onboarding still lives in a PDF, there is a version of this conversation worth having. Link to book a call in the first comment.

Most production relationships end the moment we hit export.

Ours doesn't. 🎬

Here's what actually happens after the file leaves the studio:

πŸ“ Platform optimization. The same video needs different aspect ratios, captions, thumbnail strategy, and metadata for YouTube vs. LinkedIn vs. Instagram vs. paid.

πŸ“… Publishing cadence. When and how often you release content is a distribution discipline. Not a production one.

πŸ“£ Paid amplification. Professional video that never gets boosted reaches a fraction of its potential audience.

πŸ“Š Measurement. UTM tracking, engagement benchmarks, lead attribution. This is how you know whether it worked.

82% of marketers say video delivers good ROI. Most can't prove it because no one built the tracking.

Strategy + production + distribution + measurement. Under one roof.

Most of what makes a podcast look effortless happens before anyone hits record.

Cameras on tripods. Cords run and checked. Slates marked. Soundcheck dialed in. πŸŽ™οΈ

Katie walks the whole setup before our guest sits down, so the work feels easy by the time the cameras roll. 🎬

Most video content that gets made never gets seen, because production and distribution usually live in two different buildings. We put them under one roof. 🎬

Digital Impact & is the strategy half: distribution, channels, the plan behind the footage. DIA Live Studio is where it gets made.

One studio, under two years: 100+ hours of client content, 3M+ views, 42K+ subscribers. πŸ“ˆ

Six words we hear from almost every first-time visitor: "I didn't know this was here."

Canon cinema cameras in 4K. A live-switched multi-camera control room. Professional studio lighting. Prep and production coordination on staff. All of it near Downtown San Diego.

Come take a look: dialive.studio. What's the project you shelved because the production seemed out of reach?

A laptop camera propped on books. Window light. A conference room.

That's how plenty of San Diego nonprofits make their video. Not because they don't care about quality. Because they didn't know a professional alternative was within reach.

Then they see themselves on a monitor at our studio in Mission Hills, and the reaction is almost always the same: "I didn't know this existed here."

The organizations doing the most important work deserve production that matches their mission. That's why this studio exists.

Come take a look, and bring a colleague. dialive.studio

What happens to your video six months after delivery?

A production house hands you footage. A program hands you a cadence: quarterly strategy, monthly sessions, platform-specific edits, publishing, reporting. πŸ“…

One-off productions age and disappear. A program compounds. Early episodes drive discovery. Later episodes convert. The audience grows because the publishing never stops. πŸ“ˆ

Next time you read a proposal, look for the line where it ends. If it ends at file delivery, you were offered a deliverable, not a program. 🎬
