Heroes of the valley Miranda Araya and Jayden Saenz honored at Northridge Hospital Medical Center, partnered with OneLegacy.
Floragraphs of their portraits were unveiled and will be displayed on the 2026 Rose Parade to continue honoring their legacy. “How can I continue to help others, even though I’m no longer going to be here?” Miranda’s mother, Alexandra Hernandez said. “Organ donation was something that Miranda chose. And she continues to live on in others.”
“Live like Miranda.”
Through these brave decisions, Jayden Saenz and Miranda Araya saved multiple lives, including those in need of a heart and kidney donations, transforming grief into purpose. Their floragraphs will be a deep dedication to their love and impact.
OneLegacy is an organ procurement organization, a non-profit and crucial link to connecting patients in need to matching donors.
“Your paramedic, your trauma physicians… they don’t look to see if you’re an organ donor. They’re there to save your life — that’s always their priority.” “Organ donation can be very beautiful… It’s not part of the life story of the person. It’s part of their legacy after.” - Stephanie Brooks, OneLegacy.
