Additionally, he was submissions editor/ editor for Caliber Comics, an editor for Amigo Comics (Spain), and has edited books published by Action Lab Entertainment, Behemoth, Second Sight, Cosmic Times, and Lev Gleason’s New Friday Comics (Canada).

Breathtaking Valley Views and Cascading Waterfalls - Valley Views Hike to Trail Canyon Falls!

Calling all adventurers! Join us for a scenic hike to Trail Canyon Falls in the Angeles National Forest on May 4th.

Here’s what you need to know:

☀️Meeting up:
Time: 6:30 AM
Location: 7-Eleven, 8363 Foothill Blvd, Sunland, CA 91040 (We will not have cell service at the hike location!)
Hike details:
⛰️Trail: Trail Canyon Falls
Difficulty: Moderate (5 miles, 3 hours estimated time)
Elevation gain: 1,003 ft
Adventure Pass required (available for purchase at the meeting spot)
🎒What to bring:
Plenty of water and snacks (this is a longer hike than usual!)
Sturdy hiking shoes
Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
💡Additional Info:
There will be no cell service on the trail‼️‼️
Get ready for breathtaking valley vistas and the refreshing sound of cascading water at Trail Canyon Falls!

About our guests
Nick Kimball is the City Manager for the City of San Fernando; a post that he has held since February 2019. Prior to being appointed City Manager, Nick served five (5) years as San Fernando’s Director of Finance, including a nine-month stint as Interim City Manager. During his tenure as Director of Finance, San Fernando significantly improved its financial position by turning a substantial general fund deficit into a healthy general fund reserve through prudent fiscal policy and development of a Deficit Elimination Plan.

Kanika Kith is the Deputy City Manager/Economic
Development at the City of San Fernando.
With more than 20 years of experience in economic and community development, she serves as the City’s liaison to the business community and has helped new businesses locate to the City’s main commercial and industrial districts. Kanika manages the City’s economic development efforts aimed at increasing job opportunities, boost commercial activities and sales tax revenues, and retaining, enhancing, and recruiting businesses, and she coordinates with the City of San Fernando’s own local police force to ensure a fiscally vibrant and welcoming local economy.

Join Valley Views Hikes for a historic hike this Saturday, RSVP- LINK IN BIO🥾🥾

We’re off to a unique adventure this Saturday, April 6th! We’ll be conquering the Old Zoo Trail in Griffith Park, offering stunning valley views and a walk through a fascinating piece of LA history.
The Old Zoo, which operated from 1912 to 1966, used to be the main zoo for Los Angeles! While the animals are long gone, you can still see remnants of the old enclosures along the trail. ⁣

✨ Meetup: 6:30 AM at Griffith Park
(Old Zoo parking area on Spring Canyon Dr. -

✨ Hike starts:7:00 AM ⁣
