What will they think of me?! They won’t…. Not if you’re polishing away your quirks, the funny bits, the edges.
AI, filters - they can make anyone perfect. Now that perfection isn’t rare - it’s worthless.
People are craving realness. They want to exhale with relief when someone else reflects their humanness.

But it’s scary right? The whole “see me but don’t look at me” tangle we’re all in.

Dying to be recognized, petrified of being exposed.

What would you rather - perfect and invisible? Real and seen?

The fastest way to know you’re playing by fake rules? You keep thinking about what should be happening instead of seeing what is.

“Should” you be able to just do great work and be recognized and paid well for it? Sure.

Is that reality, though?

The ones who actually get “chosen” and elevated aren’t the best, they just know how to play by the secret rules.

It’s like if you bought a brand new monopoly game but the rules inside were for Clue. You could try to make it work with the rulebook but at some point wouldn’t you just be like what the actual heck? Maybe I need to find a new rulebook?
