A family posing in front of "Mark Twain", a Sequoia tree that was 1,341 years old and stood at 331 feet tall (100 meters)tall. Felled in, Circa, 1892 after a team of two men spent 13 days sawing it in the Pacific Northwest.

In 2011, A woman donated her kidney to her boss to help save her life, but she was later fired for taking too long to recover.

A woman named Debbie Stevens donated her kidney to help her boss, Jackie Brucia, get a lifesaving transplant. After the surgery, Stevens faced complications and took time off to recover. Despite her selfless act, she was fired from her job for allegedly taking too long to recover. Stevens filed a formal complaint with the New York State Human Rights Commission, claiming unfair treatment.

In 1977, an Indian man embarked on an extraordinary journey, cycling from India to Sweden to reunite with a woman he met during her vacation in India.

They met when the girl drove to India to get her portrait done by him. She asked him to come to Sweden with her but he said he’d come later on his own. He couldn’t afford a plane ticket so he sold much of what he had, bought a bike, and set off.

He went through Afghanistan, Iran, and finally Türkiye. He made it through by selling portraits along the way, as well as through donations. At Türkiye, he bought a train ticket to somewhere in Europe, where he then biked to Gothenburg, Sweden

A man named Dale Schroeder grew up poor in Iowa, never married, had no children, and worked as a carpenter at the same company for 67 years and only owned two jeans. He spent his life savings to send 33 students to college.

Today, the 33 strangers have formed a group and call themselves "Dale's kids." Comprised of doctors, teachers and therapists, they honor Schroeder for changing their lives.

Civil War Veteran Jacob Miller (Company K 9th Indiana Vol. Inf) Was Shot In The Forehead On Sept.19th, 1863 At Brock Field At Chickamauga And Left For Dead. He lived with an open bullet wound for many years, with the last pieces of lead dropping out 31 years after he was first shot
