Gourmet Style for Special Occasions
Ingredients:
Steak Preparation:
2 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick, seasoned generously with salt and pepper)
2 tbsp olive oil
Shrimp Preparation:
½ lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
Spices: ½ tsp paprika, ¼ tsp cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper
Garlic Butter Sauce:
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 minced garlic cloves
1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
Cooking Instructions:
Preheat skillet with olive oil. Sear steaks for 4 minutes per side to achieve a golden crust. Adjust timing for doneness. Let steaks rest while preparing shrimp.
Toss shrimp in spices, then cook in the same skillet until pink and juicy (about 3 minutes per side).
Create the sauce by melting butter in the skillet, adding garlic to release aroma, then mixing in parsley and lemon juice.
Return both steak and shrimp to the skillet, spoon sauce over them, and warm for a minute.
Plate the steak with shrimp on the side, finishing with extra sauce drizzled on top.
Serve With: Grilled asparagus and garlic bread for a luxurious meal.
