I lost my leg to cancer at 14 and today marks 14 years as an amputee. I used to fantasize about where I would be on this day and to tell you the truth I never foresaw making this video. Here are 3 out of 14 things that are completely different as an amputee. I am so grateful to be alive (even when the mental illies convince me otherwise) and I will continue to share the what Ive learned, adapted to, overcome, and grown from on this journey. Im sharing not just for my relfection/healing, not just for those who are listening and could be impacted, but also for my friends who didn’t have the chance to live long enough to make this list. Cancer isn’t always this moment to overcome. I will always be impacted by it not just from my leg, but many other health reasons, and societal standards. Thank you for being here with me and I also look forward to celebrating this milestone, too.
