🌯Tried out food trucks, made rosé tteokbokki, sweet chili sausages, pork nilaga, tocino & fried rice

Rosé tteokbokki (rice cake) is one dish that when I first tasted, I committed on recreating from scratch. It was a success and will definitely make one again! Since I learned about Weee!, the online grocery, I've ordered all the Filipino dishes that I missed. Tocino (sweet cured pork) is definitely one of them. What better way to eat it but with fried rice, right? I just wish I bought pulang itlog and tomatoes, then it would be a perfect breakfast! It was a heavy breakfast but we ate an equally heavy late lunch/dinner. We headed for the food trucks and bought our favorite burritos and tacos. I'd definitely try the other trucks next time. Now, to empty the fridge, I had to cook sweet chili plant-based sausages and paired it with pork nilaga (stew). It was spicy but it took out all of our pent-up stress. Definitely a comfort food! I'll be seeing all of you in the next 2 weeks again for more of my mini adventures. Thank you for always showing your support. ☺️

🥪Online grocery haul, made chicken pesto sandwich, truffle pasta, veggie omelet,visited a local cafe

One of the many exciting things to do when moving to a new place is discovering new spots to try. I was finally able to check this local cafe in town that I’ve been curious about. Bought bread and pastries to try. Loved their blueberry scones, definitely! Also, finally tried doing online grocery for days that we can’t just be bothered to drop by the store. We’ll be ordering more often now, for sure. Lastly, I was able to find truffle oil without ordering online. Next time, I’ll try adding real truffle bits to make the flavor sharper. Another 2 weeks have gone by, I hope to discover more new things with you guys in my future videos. See you again in 2 weeks! 💙

☕️ Unboxing coffee maker, making pesto sauce from scratch, grilled ham & cheese, cafe latte mishaps

There was one dish I have been wanting to make but I can't muster the courage to because I'm afraid to mess it up. Finally, I was brave enough to try making pesto sauce from scratch. My fear was obviously irrational as it was not that hard to make. Cooking is always a learning experience for me as most of the dishes in my videos, I have to learn all by myself. I am far from being a professional and an expert but I am trying to keep being adventurous and try everything. Cooking is one big adventure that I hope everyone could try. It is just so fulfilling in the end despite the result. Another adventure I had was making cafe latte with the tools I have on hand. Having been gifted with the handheld whisk and mixer by my wedding godmother, I can say I had quite an experience. I'll only get better so I'm not worried. Hope you all enjoy this video and see you again in two weeks! ☺️
