This is not the best picture of me, but…
I recently returned from my honeymoon to Ireland where my husband asked me every time we saw an Aldi if I wanted to go in and check it out. We’re from Michigan so he knew I’d want to see what was different.
I kept saying noooo no it’s ok. I didn’t want to drag him into a grocery store during such a special vaca, that’s not romantic. lol.
Finally after about half a dozen times he just pulled into one and said he could tell I really wanted to 😂 I ended up getting a few cool food items I could easily pack, like seasoning packets…and these sweet shoes, because he said “you gotta get em, you’ll be the only one around with those when we get home” then made me pose for a picture “for my Aldi Facebook group” before we left.
After all, marriage is about encouraging your spouse’s passions, even when they aren’t always shared, right?! Even when they are as silly as a grocery store obsession.
If they sell these in the states, I don’t want to know. 🤣🫶🏼

I used these langostino tails to make hot buttered “lobster rolls” omg they were so good! Just warmed them up in some butter, lemon, parsley and old bay. Tossed in a little bit of celery for crunch and added to some buttered brioche buns. Would be great for a cold lobster roll too I bet! Sorry I didn’t take a photo we were too excited to eat them! But 10/10! Quick and easy! Dinner done in under 10 min!

Edit to add: Thank you everyone for your support and suggestions! I am keeping this dress. I do have several colorful scarves and will try them. The long necklace shown has sparkly silver and gold and I hadn’t put on the shimmery gold hoops that I bought with the necklace long ago. This picture was taken late afternoon after getting up around 2:30 on Black Friday morning so my makeup was definitely washed out 😂.

So because of all the post about how good the crab legs and muscles were, I bought them and made them for dinner tonight. It was suggested to put the thawed crab legs in tinfoil and pour a mixture of melted butter, olive oil and old bay seasoning. Seal it up in the tinfoil and bake at 425 for 14 minutes. I made them this way and the crab legs were delicious! Cooked the muscles according to directions and everyone agreed they were some of the best muscles they ever had!

Went to Aldi last night to get coffee and ended up with these beautiful little Christmas trees. There are two in one package for $19.99. They come in black and gold and the black ones match my reindeer from last year. Now, all I need is a golden reindeer. Hopefully that will come back in beginning of December. Also purchased a warming mat for our rescue cat Larry and he loves it. I got the glass snow globe tree a week ago and it’s mesmerizing when turned on. I love my ALDI!!! ♥️

Go to Aldi, get you a loaf of French bread and split it in half. Grab that HOT HAM TRIO…Butter both sides of the bread and sprinkle some garlic & herbs on it.
Place under the broiler for 4 to 6 minutes.
Dress it anyway you want it. I like a little mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato & Italian dressing 🤤 with a side of plain baked lays
