Dear Friends and Supporters,

At the start of January, we received more than 35 artist proposals. With the support of our Auxiliary Committee, made up of former Artists in Residence, we thoughtfully narrowed this highly competitive selection to six artists, each invited to transform the Jettison space and bring their exhibition to life. Together, we pushed ourselves to imagine what was possible within our walls and how the space could evolve to meet each artist’s unique vision.

Looking back on 2025, we are reminded of the importance of holding space for one another and the power of a true artistic community. Many of the works presented this year had never been seen before, offered free to the public, and were accompanied by workshops that deepened engagement and encouraged learning.

The diversity of the artistic voices we welcomed was extraordinary: dance, fashion, oil painting, multidimensional textiles, film photography, animation, sculpture, and digital art. Standing alongside these creatives and our community, and witnessing their stories unfold, is what makes Jettison so special.

As an artist-led, artist-run organization, we understand the time, emotional commitment, and financial insecurity that can accompany each creative process. Because of this, we do not take a percentage of any work sold and remain committed to supporting each artist as authentically as possible. With your donations and the support of our community, we can continue holding space for artists’ stories, bringing people together, and shaping the future of accessible, quality art programming.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing what’s in store for 2026. Happy Holidays!

With gratitude,
Terez, John, Elliott
