ur months earlier, Prince was already doing a podcast called The GoodKnight Podcast discussing film and TV, but we all know the pull that horror has on our hearts. There’s something about the darkness, monsters, and terror, oh my! Maybe there’s a reason why we all need a night light as a child. Six months after the birth of Knight Light: A Horror Movie Podcast, Bloody Disgusting catches wind of this incredible show and our boys are invited onto this beloved network. Since then, they’ve grown and flourished into where they are now with their supportive listeners lovingly dubbed the Ghoulish Knights. Our boys have since evolved into Prince - The Head Knight, David - Knightly, and Freddy - Knighty Knight, with the mission to involve the Ghoulish Knights as much as possible with help picking films to discuss, chatting with them on the discord community platform, and connecting in the way only horror allows. Our hosts! Meet Prince Jackson, our Head Knight, who currently resides in San Francisco, California. When he was a young knight, he was scared by his creative older brother and cousins constantly. Whether it was singing Freddy Krueger’s nursery rhyme or just showing him a horror movie, they tried it all. Little did they all know, they light a fire under him and he would eventually jumpstart a career into the genre. His favorite horror film of the moment is Dario Argento’s Opera due to the wild set pieces and insane horror elements. His favorite horror subgenre is body horror because it seems to be the most misunderstood. Check out the podcast to hear his incredible impressions and hear him interview some legends in the industry! Fun fact: his mom was in the temple of the people! Meet Frederick Nuti, our Knighty Knight, who grew up in San Francisco and despite moving four times, he has not left the bay area. It’s as if something is keeping our Freddy here. He started podcasting 5 years ago on The GoodKnightPodcast, which turned into the GoodKnight Movie Club, which morphed into our Knight Light horror podcast now. For Freddy, film is everything! The spark that lit the match was Hugo directed by Martin Scorsese. Seeing how the magic of film is achieved blew his mind. Then, he saw The Conjuring and his love for horror sparked because there is a horror film for everyone, and that is beautiful. His favorite horror films deal with mental health including Relic, The Night House and Malignant. Fun fact: he runs a website called Choice Cut Media which covers movie reviews and film festival coverage. As of now, he is also producing his first short film!
