From volcanic landscapes to unforgettable ocean encounters, the Big Island gave us experiences that felt both grounding and surreal.

Each stop had its own story—but nothing compares to floating in the dark ocean at Garden Eel Cove, watching giant manta rays glide gracefully beneath us. At night, bright lights attract plankton, which in turn draw these gentle giants closer, creating a magical underwater ballet you’ll never forget. 
It felt peaceful and humbling at the same time—just drifting, watching these massive creatures move effortlessly through the water like they owned the ocean (because they do). It wasn’t just snorkeling—it was witnessing nature in its purest form.
From the powerful energy of Kilauea’s volcanic landscapes to the calm beauty of Kona’s beaches, every moment reminded me how diverse and alive this island is.
Grateful for the memories, the views, and the reminder that there’s still so much beauty waiting to be discovered.
