Meet , a Peruvian scientist combining modern science with Indigenous knowledge to help protect the Amazon and its stingless bees. 🇵🇪🐝

Her work reminds us that protecting nature begins by listening to the communities that have cared for these ecosystems for generations. From Peru to California, our futures depend on the natural world and on one another. 🌎🌿

How Chinese immigration helped shape Peruvian food forever 🇵🇪🇨🇳

In the mid-1800s, Chinese immigrants brought their culinary traditions to Peru, adapting them with local ingredients and flavors. This cultural exchange gave us iconic dishes like arroz chaufa, mostrito, and chijaukai.

Today, chifa isn’t just fusion food. It’s part of Peruvian culture and proof that two cultures can create something new without losing either identity.

📍 What’s your go-to chifa order? Tell me in the comments!

PERUVIAN TAX 🇵🇪 I worked in tech, and people assumed that meant I had “made it.”

But even with a good job, I still felt the Peruvian tax: helping family with paperwork, money, resumes, bills, technology, and everything in between.

I’m proud that we’re always there for our families. At the same time, one person’s success shouldn’t have to carry so much. Success shouldn’t just mean one person gets ahead. It should mean our families have a little more room to breathe.

What’s one thing your family always comes to you for help with? ⬇️

🇵🇪 Peru isn’t in the World Cup, but that didn’t stop people from showing up, cheering, and making the game feel like home ⚽️

The World Cup isn’t just about who’s on the field. It’s about the people who gather around it: the food, the flags, the families, and the strangers who become community for 90 minutes.

No matter where you’re from, moments like this remind us that the game belongs to all of us.
