Horizon’ is Yama Uba's first release since their 2024 debut album, 'Silhouettes.' Throughout the EP 'Horizon' explores making peace with unknowing and allowing oneself to exist in the liminal space of the present, while exploring multitudes of possibilities for both future and past. In a time of sensory overload and overwhelm, these songs explore the deceptively simple act of being.

Embracing the serenity of ethereal, dreamlike, and open sounds alongside bass-pumping, dance-worthy tracks, 'Horizon' explores the contrasts between pressure and expanse and the artifice of role with self-identity, all while navigating the vicissitudes of time.

Haunting, emotive vocals float above velvety, meditative synthesizers in "Multitudes" and "Stomata," which together witness existence at both the galactic and microscopic levels. The nostalgic melodies of "Queen of Swords" and "The Emperor's New Clothes" (Sinèad O'Connor cover) speak to the grief of shifted perspectives and disintegrated relationships. In "Black Cat," gritty rock vocals pounce upon dark 80s basslines, shouting plaintive questions about the mysteries of mortality deep into the night.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Outsider Sounds and Visions Festival at First Church Of The Buzzard! It was a weekend to remember - it all happened so fast. If you have any pictures or video please send to us so we can add into our mega folder of documentation which we will slowly be sharing here.

We were able to donate $250 to the a very important organization doing very important work! Thank you to all who came out and supported all of the incredible artists.
