What an unforgettable night at Paname with the Deep & Dope family! Huge love to everyone who came out and filled the space with such beautiful energy.

A massive shoutout to the incredible Kebin van Reeken and Phillosopher for delivering next-level sets that kept the dance floor alive and interesting, and to local talent Jerry Chiu & Krissh (Krisshnan Venugopalan) for an amazing B2B set, along with K1k0x (Enrique Villalba) who set the tone for the night! The vibe, the music, the community — it was everything we hoped for and more.

Deep & Dope Pres. Kebin van Reeken lineup:

Jerry Chiu first discovered electronic music in the early 90s and was influenced by bands such as Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode and The Prodigy. It wasn’t until the early 2000s he learned how to DJ and grew inspiration for the genre, Progressive House after attending events in San Francisco.

Since then, he has made guest appearances on Internet Radio Shows on Frisky Radio, Proton Radio, and DI.FM. In 2014 he contributed to the global dance scene with the launch of his label, Droid9, featuring top and upcoming progressive house artists from around the world.

These days you can find him DJing at local San Francisco clubs such as Public Works, The Great Northern, Audio Club, The Mint, VIA Hotel Rooftop and The Midway. He has also played alongside with some of the industries top artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Solarstone, Aname, Jody Wisternoff, Shingo Nakamura, 16 Bit Lolitas, Nox Vahn, Ruben Karapetyan, Eli Nissan and Chris Luno.

Today, we are thrilled to announce the newest member of the Deep & Dope collective, Krissh (Krisshnan Venugopalan). His sets take listeners on a euphoric journey blending deeper elements and dynamic grooves.

He has already made a mark in the San Francisco electronic music scene, sharing the stage with some of the industries most respected names such as Eli Nissan, Cubicolor, Anyasa, and Dennis Horvat. This has led him to landing gigs at top SF venues including Madare and Audio.

We are proud to have him on board! Please help us by giving him a warm welcome to the Deep & Dope family.

Krissh will be performing at our next event this Saturday at Paname SF featuring headliners Phillosopher and Kebin van Reeken.

Deep & Dope Presents Kebin Van Reeken lineup:

Krissh, an Indian-born DJ based in the Bay Area, is renowned for crafting melodic journeys that blend deep emotion with immersive storytelling. His sets delve into progressive house, melodic house & techno, pushing the dance floor boundaries.

Krissh’s passion for electronic music began at 14, ignited by Trance and Eurodance tracks on a magazine CD. His passion for the music evolved when he discovered artists like Ferry Corsten, Above and Beyond and Armin van Buuren, Mike Push shaping his passion. Overtime, Influenced by and inspired by modern icons like Yotto, Adriatique, Spencer Brown, Nora En Pure bringing about a distinctive taste in his selections.

Starting as a bedroom DJ in 2018, Krissh transitioned to live performances that deeply connect with listeners. His breakthrough came in 2022 with a debut and series of events in Charlotte, North Carolina. He followed life changes and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where he has featured in venues like Audio SF and Madarae. He has shared the stage with headliners such as Cubicolor(Anjunadeep), Anyasa (Anjunadeep), Eli Nissan (Lost & Found), and Denis Horvat (Afterlife), and is active in the local Anjunadeep and progressive house communities. Krissh also has a YouTube channel to show case his curations of new music every month.

For Krissh, DJing transcends music; it’s about creating a space for people to lose themselves, feel deeply, and emerge recharged. His mission is to share and bring the lesser known underground sounds to the community and foster an inclusive environment where the dance floor becomes a shared emotional experience.

Kikox is a Mexico City-born DJ, now based in California, and the founder of AcidMindz—a project dedicated to deep, driving, and emotional sounds. His sets blend the hypnotic energy of Progressive House with the depth of Melodic and Progressive Techno. Though early in his musical journey, Kikox continues to evolve, shaping his style with passion, precision, and a relentless love for the underground scene.

Born in The Netherlands and now based in Argentina, Kebin’s journey began behind drums and bongos at age 12. He quickly evolved into a internationally recognized producer and DJ known for his unique approach to Progressive House that tells a story with every set.

He’s the founder of Venture Records, and his music has been featured on top labels like Mango Alley, Plattenbank, Manual Music, and Univack.
