SGL Smart Leadership Training tutorials for men and women based on leadership theories from MBA programs Yes! That's a SmartyGirl and SmartyFella.

Would your coworkers, acquaintances and friends describe you as warm and bright as the sun? You have self-confidence. So much that you aren't a hoarder about how tos for best practices. As far as schools of thought: you believe that the pie is larger than everyone thinks and sharing doesn't diminish your portion. In other words, you never would listen to a sensei that would tell you to "sweep the

leg". Instead you empower your community and the world by sharing fitness, entrepreneur and entertainment tips that make life more awesome-face. You're able to stand up to negative social pressure. You're an early adopter of technology and thought innovation because you aren't afraid to stand out. Baddies beware because you stand up for what you think is right though two Smarties do not have the same political or religious affiliation. We respect our comrades fighting the same good fight of anti-douchebaggery. From robotics to cost accounting, we make accessibility to best practices to all economic classes easier through funny tutorials onsite in our zipcode, virtual teach-ins or in DIY digital shorts because we are creative like that.

Welcome to summer, SmartyLeaders! Last summer, in May 2018, our Guest Music Blogger Kai gifted us with a review of Simon Tam's Music Business Hacks book. We are looking forward to more articles by Kai this summer. For an update on author/activist/musician Simon Tam, here's a podcast episode from Now in Color:

In the season finale, Sandie is joined by notorious "troublemaker," Simon Tam, the frontman of The Slants. Over the span of almost a decade, the band fought to keep their name with the U.S. Trademark

Our Editor-in-Chief Renee is modeling the way by taking acting improv classes.
Our challenge to SGL readers? Share your "creative stretch" activities this fall. We got you. It's outside your comfort zone. Technical crew learning to act as cast? Yep.
Renee works with film and behind-the-camera.
She's refreshing her empathy for actors by putting herself in the actors' shoes.
Why? This makes her a better scriptwriter and leader by taking direction.
3 tips to share from her latest improv class? 1) Establish the relationship between characters 2) Support the scene as an extra but don't distract the audience 3) Allow time for your scene partner to react nonverbally
Feel free to add your own tips.
