The manuscript is done. I go to the Audible Studio in about a week. The book arrives this fall. One decision left, and it belongs to you.

Since my accident, I have been writing Ultimate Partner: 7 Principles for Winning in the Age of Ecosystems, AI, and Co-Sell. It was built in the rooms our podcast, events, and you, created.

So it is only right that this community picks the cover.

Three finalists:

1. The Circle. The ecosystem itself: continuous, no beginning and no end, green flowing into blue.

Three years ago we hosted our first UP LIVE in Las Colinas, Texas.

Three hundred people in the room, and I didn’t have a single employee and pulled it all together with some friends in 12 weeks!

My son John was at SADA, An Insight company then. I asked him to come for just two days. Just come see what this is.

He found me after the last session.

“Dad, I think I can help you grow this.”

Twelve events and thousands of attendees later, I’m still not sure he knew what he was signing up for.

Here’s what I know.

The rooms got bigger. We went from three hundred people in Las Colinas to sold out in Bellevue.

The work got a lot less lonely as we built a team and a viable company.

Today is John Menzione’s birthday 🎂

So, I’ll say the part I don’t say enough:

John, I can’t do this without you. Building this alongside you has been the best part of the last three years.

Happy birthday, son. We’re just getting started.

Because being in the room changes everything.

Happy Anniversary Allie & Tom

One year ago today, I walked my daughter Allie down the aisle at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge.

The day of the accident i promised my little girl to fulfill my promise - That promise became my north star.

There is nothing more powerful than having something worth fighting for.

Happy First Anniversary to Allie and her husband Tom. Watching you build your life together is one of the greatest gifts of mine. —Vince

Today Jackie and I visited an olive oil farm just outside Ostuni. Masseria Rienzo.

Monks lived in this converted Monastery 1000 years ago. Donkey’s turned a stone wheel crushing the olives for pressing - in a 3000 year old cave beneath.

We then toured the oldest olive tree on the property — three centuries!

This farmland brought me back to my grandfather. He only went to school long enough to read and write and then worked the nearby land.

What a joy to stand in it and taste the most wonderful product of this land - truly amazing olive oil.
