Sunset Media Wave is a San Francisco-based, teen-driven blog that incorporates all types of modern and ancient media to paint a vivid picture of teen life. A select group of current high school students have been chosen to contribute ongoing columns to The Wave, providing insight into the unique perspectives and growing passions which drive their everyday lives.

Still feeling the love from The Wave at the 4 Star! Thank you to everyone who packed the house and helped make our first film festival and fundraiser such a meaningful night.

To our filmmakers, seeing your work on a theater screen and shared with a full room reminded us why we do this. Supporting the craft of filmmaking and storytelling in a communal space, on a big screen, is everything.

Huge thanks to all who donated and sent encouragement from afar. Your support directly helps us continue paying artist stipends and sustaining this program.

Major thanks to Adam Bergeron, the for donating the space, and their amazing staff, Sydney, Andrew and Eli for believing in our artists and treating us all like royalty. Deep gratitude to Yu Ling Wu for making a killer video for the program, our speakers, editors Max and Lena, alumni Jacob and Sophia, Clay on DJ duty and props to D for photographing the night.

This night was a win not just financially, but creatively and communally. More to come, including all the films on YouTube, our first annual visual arts anthology this summer, and our biggest cohort yet this spring. Thank you for taking this journey with us!
