E-cover for the 'BrowBeat' E-album - on Bandcamp only - which was E-released two years ago today. Ye olde driver's license toes-to-the-line-er, dig? As indicated, its music is all pre-Ophelias. BrowBeat is the second of the four collections concerned with the home-brewed music of my early days, none of which has a physical release to this point.

We’re beyond excited to announce that The Green Door’s new album, Dead Stock, drops on June 28th, and we’re throwing a killer release party to celebrate!

Join us Friday, June 28th at Thee Parkside in San Francisco for a night of epic music. We’ll have limited edition vinyl of Dead Stock available at the show!

Thanks for the shout out!

One year old today is Leslie Medford’s “A Loveknot for Everyone”. (Bandcamp.com) Like a penthouse rendezvous with the Duchess this is a Lo-Fi affair of the highest order. Wot, thirteen bedroom cassette recordings, (mostly) solo, live-performance one-offs made during the Oafs reign of terror 1987-89. “Demos” of songs yet to be cleaned and polished. Rescued from the dustbin of history with the help of Mike Carnahan of The Green Door (grab their new LP when it soon appears!) and Oakland Riviera Studios. Despite knocks against it (you’ll hear), Loveknot is a delightful set of inspiration and oddity. I’m sure I’ll listen to it today. Won’t you join me? Link in Comments. Happy Birthday!
