Paid $4,850 for this drywall job and this corner is the part I keep staring at. There’s compound built up all along the outside edge, chunks coming off around it, and the electrical opening beside it is still completely unfinished. I KNOW this is mid-project and the guy is literally working on it in the picture, so I’m trying not to judge the final result before it exists. But every time another layer goes on, I start wondering how much sanding and feathering it’s going to take to make this corner disappear under paint. 😅 The rest of the room is slowly coming together, which almost makes this one rough area stand out even more. People who actually know drywall, does an outside corner normally look this chaotic before the finishing coats, or would you be asking about it now before more compound goes on?
