I am absolutely fuming at this absolute hack job. I paid this paving company $24500 for a luxury driveway installation and they left the sides looking like a literal desert wasteland. Look at all that dirt and gravel thrown everywhere around my brand new asphalt. When I confronted the foreman about why there was no lush green grass seed or sod laid down he had the nerve to say they are a paving company not a landscaping crew. You took over $24500 of my money and you expect me to look at dirt every time I pull up to my house. Do I refuse to sign off on the final payment until they bring in a professional lawn team to fix their mess??

I AM LITERALLY SHAKING. We paid $18,900 for this “premium driveway resurfacing” and now the entire thing looks like a shiny black Slip N Slide wrapped around my yard. The contractor keeps telling me the glare is “fresh asphalt sheen” and it will “calm down after oxidation.” OXIDATION?? I did not pay almost $20,000 for a driveway that needs to emotionally mature before it looks normal. The surface looks bumpy, the edges look like they were traced by a toddler, and now every time the sun hits it, my whole front yard looks like an airport runway. Would you make them come back or is this considered acceptable now?

My blood pressure is completely off the charts because these workers have been blocking my entire yard all day. I shelled out $22000 for a pristine blacktop and they parked this giant ugly yellow monster right next to my landscaping like my house is a public construction zone. When I told them to move it because it is ruining the aesthetic of my suburban estate they told me they need it to flatten the asphalt. Flatten the asphalt?! It looks completely flat already and they are just dragging out the hours to overcharge me for labor. Am I overreacting or should I have this entire crew trespassed off my property immediately??

I feel like the biggest idiot. $19,800 spent and all I got is a driveway that looks like it rolled straight off a construction site with zero attention to detail near the borders. The center is fine, sure, but the edges taper into the lawn like someone tried to smudge charcoal over a painting. The contractor shrugged and said, “Edges are always rough, it’s normal.” NORMAL?? For nearly twenty grand I expect perfection, not an asphalt guessing game that I have to navigate like it’s a minefield. Am I overreacting for thinking the sides should actually look polished?

I paid a 'premium' paving company $14000 for a so-called lifetime driveway and this is what it looks like after only four years!! They claimed they used the highest quality polymer-infused asphalt but it’s clear they just painted my old driveway black and pocketed the difference!! The entire surface is a maze of alligator cracks and literal gaping potholes that are ready to swallow my luxury SUV whole!! The owner had the audacity to suggest I didn't 'maintain it correctly' when I called him to demand a refund!! I am absolutely fuming at the blatant scam and I am suing for emotional distress and fraud because this is not what premium looks like!!

I am absolutely fuming right now. We paid this paving company $16,500 for a seamless transition, and they left me with this glaring eyesore where the cheap asphalt just meets our old concrete pad. They didn't even blend it or treat the edges, it just stops and looks utterly unfinished. When I complained, the owner laughed and told me to just paint the concrete black myself if I wanted it to match. I feel like I just handed $20,000 to a magician and got a disappearing act. The driveway itself is fine, sure, but the edges taper off into grass with random specks of tar and uneven lines like someone dumped asphalt from a coffee can. When I called the contractor, he said, “Edges are always organic for rural charm.” ORGANIC?? I didn’t pay for a driveway that looks like it’s melting into the lawn, I paid for a proper surface to park my cars without anxiety attacks. I am actually sick over this. We paid $19,500 for a “premium mountain driveway resurfacing” and this is what they left us with. The asphalt looks smooth from far away, sure, but look at the edges where it meets the old concrete and landscaping. It looks like they just poured a black blanket over the hill and called it luxury. I asked the contractor why the transition wasn’t cleaner and he said, “That’s normal for a rural driveway.” NORMAL?? Just because I have trees around my house doesn’t mean I paid for campsite pavement. I wanted a clean driveway, not a hiking trail with fresh tar on it. Would you make them come back or am I being too picky?

I am absolutely sick to my stomach and officially contacting my attorney right this second! I paid a so called premium landscaping firm $28,500 to excavate and pour a flawless luxury asphalt driveway so I can safely park my pristine Ford Mustang and this is what I come home to! The entire crew packed up and vanished leaving a massive mountain of loose dirt and giant tractor ruts going straight up to my garage doors! When I finally got the owner on the phone he had the absolute audacity to tell me this is a finished eco friendly permeable gravel matrix designed to naturally filter rainwater! A PERMEABLE GRAVEL MATRIX?? It is a literal mud pit! He actually said the giant tire tracks add architectural texture and will help my sports car tires grip the slope better during winter! I told him my luxury vehicle is not an off road rally car and my wife is absolutely furious because she cannot even walk to the red side door without ruining her shoes! I am demanding a full refund and calling the local news investigative team to expose this massive fraud! Is this the absolute garbage standard we accept from contractors now or is this literal theft??

I AM ACTUALLY LOSING SLEEP because this new driveway has patches that resemble spilled powdered sugar and tire tracks from a ghost vehicle, the middle is smooth, sure, but the rest looks like a lava field someone tried to iron, the contractor keeps reassuring me “this is normal for fresh asphalt” like I should be grateful for a $14,700 mood rollercoaster in my own yard, I just wanted a functional driveway, not a landscape horror show with decorative white streaks and uneven gravel shadows, Am I overreacting or is this a psychological test disguised as construction work?
