Is it too early to be that person who complained about it being cold all winter/spring and wished it was summer to complain that now it's getting too hot lol? I do love having warm feet and hands again though!

For anyone training for a fall marathon or other race, I think these shoes can go the distance depending on your comfort level!

I ran my first marathon 2 years ago (I have to watch when I say first because some think I will run another one 😅) and thought I would share these recs!

I will say that I am flat footed and don't find the shoes with a metal plate comfy. Too much arch support and cushion makes my feet hurt a lot too. But that's just me!

The trail runners are cool because you can also use them for hikes which I still do today!

Always listen to your body! It's an investment getting the right shoes but worth it to keep you safe.

Is it summer yet 🌞?

It's starting to feel like having too many plans sorta rushes it and it's over before we know it. I'm happy I've been feeling motivated to be social and outside. Happy I've been feeling like me again. Grateful for the sun! Also happy I've been cleaning my home more and getting excited about it. Maybe because I haven't been home that much these past few weeks? We'll see how long I can keep this up lol.

Waiting in line for an hour on top of a mountain>>>sitting in traffic for an hour!

Bummed I can't bring some friends to experience for the first time because I've been bragging/coaching them on it for what feels like forever now lol. Resharing in hopes we can all be responsible tourists so next year more slots will open up!

Very happy for the folks that got tickets. Very happy the Inn is getting the business as it is all volunteer based and the funds help to keep the Inn up and running on Mt Tam.
Tips:
Bring cash! venmo might not work with lack of signal

Take the 61 bus from Sausalito or Mill Valley and get off at

Pan Toll Station (parking is a mess & it's better to free up roads for locals & bikers! Spare the air and be eco friendly. It's like $6 for adults compared to sketchy side of the cliff parking or paying)

Take the 2 mile hike up as it's easy and you get lots of views (across from pantoll)

Not a ton of shade so bring & a hat & water

DONT LITTER & be kind to the volunteers

Just sharing a few tips/tricks if it's your first time going 💖.

Love finding a super local coffee shop whenever I go camping lol. Honestly traveling in general. There's always a star💵 but it's nice to go a little out of the way to go to a local coffee place if you can. I even went to a farmers market nextdoor and got a tote bag I don't need (I have so many already).
