Some masks are loud because of the colors.
This one talks through the details.

Black glitter base with that deep bronze/brown shine all over it. This isn’t one of those masks you forget after scrolling past it. The more you stare at it, the more little details start hitting you.

Even the side logo placement came out clean. Small touch, but it gives it identity without taking away from the actual design.

And seeing Rey rocking it with the fit? Yeah… that tells you everything. The mask carries itself. You can throw this in a ring, at an arena, at a meet & greet, or just on display and it still feels special.

That black and bronze glitter combo under the lights is different in person too. Cameras barely do it justice.

This is the type of piece that reminds people why lucha libre masks are art before they’re gear.

From the original blue and gold designs to darker variations, special editions, and even the split between Sin Cara Azul and Sin Cara Negro, every version told a different chapter of the story.

But if you really knew… you knew exactly who was under that mask.

Before WWE… he was Místico — one of the biggest stars in Mexico. A true high-flyer who changed the game with speed, precision, and moves that fans had never seen before.

And when he came to WWE, you could feel it.
The lights. The entrance. The trampoline.

Every time he hit the ring, it felt like gravity didn’t exist.

Before the customs, before MLW, before everything… it started with masks like these. Each one meant something—different colors, different styles—but all tied back to one influence.

Rey Mysterio.

He was one the reason I fell in love with lucha libre. The way he moved, the way his masks told a story, the way he represented culture on a global stage… he made the world pay attention. He didn’t just wrestle—he carried lucha libre everywhere he went and made it bigger than anyone thought possible.

These masks remind me where it all started. From being a fan… to building a collection… to now creating and sharing this passion with all of you.

Let’s get it straight — Octagon Jr. wasn’t born into the name…
he earned it.

AAA saw something in him. The skill. The presence. The way he moves in that ring. And they trusted him with one of the most iconic names in lucha libre. That’s not given… that’s proven.
