It's just a rumor of a rumor of a rumor ... but we're hearing (now that the KSFO call letters have been moved to 810 AM, and the KGO call letters have been dumped in the trash) that Cumulus is planning to shut off 560 AM completely and return the license to the FCC – which would mean that there would be a great big nothing on 560 for the first time since the mid-1930s. (But it is just a rumor.)
