Leslie began her career as a staff engineer at the acclaimed Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, where she developed her ear and style while working on award-winning records and gaining hands-on experience with studio wiring and large-format consoles. In 2008, Leslie joined Ben Folds’ team to help bring Historic RCA Studio A back to life for commercial use. Today, she works as a freelance producer, engineer, and mixer in Nashville, with credits including Sheryl Crow, Spoon, Sara Bareilles, Wynonna, Kacey Musgraves, Jim Lauderdale, Ben Folds, Brandy Clark, and more.
A longtime member of the Audio Engineering Society and The Recording Academy, Leslie has also dedicated her career to mentoring and supporting the next generation of creators. She has served on the Recording Academy’s Nashville Chapter Board of Governors and as a mentor in the GrammyU mentorship program.
