Meet Laverne. Once upon a time, she could survive a night out in stilettos, wore jeans so tight they probably had opinions, and rocked bras held together by sheer hope and dental floss. She pregamed like a champion and never paid for a drink through four full years of college — a legend, honestly. She once rode shotgun and middle seat in a pickup, sneezed without bracing herself, and flirted like it was a competitive sport.

But now? Oh, now she’s a whole sourdough goddess. She’s got a bubbly starter named Doughlene who gets more attention than her ex ever did. Laverne’s plants have feeding schedules. Her idea of a wild night is playing Scrabble with herbal tea and threatening to use “qi” on a triple word score.

She’s officially in her “dough before bros” era. Approach with baked goods or don't approach at all.
