I love a good cover tune. And an ELO cover isn’t something that’s easy to do. Jeff Lynne’s commitment to creating a huge presence of perfection is just hard to top. This cover, by the daughter of a preacher, born in Mississippi in 1941 and sadly left this planet for greener pastures in Oakland, CA, in 1991. This is her version of Showdown, released in 1975.
