Many artists have honored the late great Purple One with tribute shows over the last year since his untimely passing. The Revolution were all handpicked by Prince in 1979 to be his backing band. After decades of touring, The Melvins continue to produce new music and with their new album “A Walk With Love & Death,” the trio of Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover and Steve McDonald showcase two distinct sides of the band’s music: “Death,” a proper Melvins release, and “Love,” the score to the Jesse Nieminen-directed, self-produced short also titled “A Walk With Love & Death.”
