Why have plain boots when you can sexy red sparkle boots?
This is part of my series “to Prime or not to Prime”. My waxes work best over black but what if your piece, or your boots are already black? Do you need to paint them black first?
The answer is that you need to do a test. Here I started applying the wax and it spread unevenly because the surface was still to slick. There wasn’t enough tooth in the leather to hold the wax steady so I primed with black pro stick primer first.
Then when I applied my newest color “Desire” from the new Mirror collection she went on smooth!
