🎭🚨 New Story 🚨🎭

“I spent almost 24 years of my life dreaming of becoming anything other than who I was. During those years, I dreamed of doing something more fulfilling. I wanted to learn history and theories, expand my vocabulary, build confidence, and be recognized not only for potential but for who I truly am. I hoped to thrive in a place that breathes in eagerly motivated individuals and exhales out sagacious scholars properly equipped to make the world a better place. Those dreams came true at Mt. San Jacinto College and shifted them into something bigger.”

New story! 🎧

“Artists and developers alike are now working on protective technologies to help preserve the uniqueness of man-man content. These tools are part of a broader movement to assert artistic control and safeguard creative industries from being mined by algorithms.”

New story 🧑‍🚒

“We’re people. We have feelings…we love our job, love helping people, but we also get tired, and we also have trauma. We’re just like anybody else.” Jesse’s words are honest, vulnerable, and inspiring- but our firefighters are not just like anybody else.”

New story 🗣️🎉

“Cinco de Mayo is a widely celebrated holiday not only for Mexican-Americans, but I’ll tell you why we choose to commemorate it. The 2004 short documentary from Films Media Group, Cinco De Mayo, tells us the fascinating history behind the holiday’s origins. It honors Mexicans’ remarkable victory over the French, otherwise known as the 1862 Battle of Puebla. The year before this battle, Mexico’s president at the time, Benito Juarez, stopped paying debt to England, Spain, and France so he could use the money for more of the needs of his country. Spain and England were able to come to a negotiation; however, France, which by the way was the least indebted of the three, would not budge. They had an ulterior motive, of course, to establish a monarchy there and overthrow the Mexican Republic.”

New story 🏀 ⛹️

“During her senior year at Boise High School, Avery Howell, a Boise, Idaho native, became a two-time Gatorade State Player of the Year. She dominated girl’s high school basketball in her state. Averaging 21.2 points and 10.6 rebounds a game, the McDonald’s All American was ranked no. 16 by ESPN for the Class of 2024. College offers from top schools poured in. Duke wanted her to come to North Carolina. Indiana wanted her, so did Washington and Utah. She passed on them all and came to Los Angeles to play for the USC Trojans. A little over a year later, after her first season at USC came to an end, she entered the NCAA transfer portal to continue her college career at another school.”

New story 🗣️🚨

“ I have never walked into a space that wasn’t a Q***r Bar where I felt like a normal person, except Nightmare Weekend. This convention is where everything unusual is celebrated. A home for the outcasts and weirdos who are drawn to the macabre and obscure. A house of haunting attractions, fashions, and cinematizations of everything horror. My new home away from home.“

New story 📱 🧟

“It’s 10:30 pm one night, and you have an opening shift at 8:30 am for work the next day, and to finish up your night, you decide to hop on your phone. Maybe to look at some videos, respond to friends, or see what drama is stirring up in the group chat. Once you go through that, you decide to hop on TikTok or Instagram and see what your algorithm is stirring up to entertain you.”

New story 🍿

“The new movie Minecraft has started a trend of quotable jokes that audiences have been shouting aloud during the movie, causing them to throw candy, popcorn, and drinks all over the theater. This has led to theaters needing to tighten up security and post warnings about the consequences of doing such acts during the movie.”
