Okay somewhat BF related but I NEED your suggesstions for quick, easy, good-tasting snacks!!! My baby boy is cluster feeding right now so I have almost no time to do literally anything other than feed/burp/change himšŸ˜…
My appetite went away after birth on 5/18 and I haven’t been eating as much as I should. But I found that it’s a little easier to remember to eat when I have small snacks by my best to eat quick while he’s feeding. Right now I’m kinda living off of peanut butter/oat protein balls and fruit smoothies and although they’re delicious, I need other options!!!! Preferably ones with a good amount of nutrients that baby and I need

I have a 9 day old. I hand pumped about 1.5oz after feeding her yesterday afternoon around 4pm and put it in the fridge. I warmed it up and fed her with it around 11pm and she ate about half of the milk. I put the bottle back in the fridge around 3am. Can I give her the rest if I re-warm it? Thanks! Need advice 🫠
Our 4th baby is almost 6 months old and this is the most successful that I have ever been with nursing. I cannot get this sweet girl to sleep in her bassinet or crib and am really starting to struggle at night. It seems like the more I try the more often she wants to eat. It was every 2 hours and this past week it’s every 1.5. I think she’s just comfort nursing but she is gulping like a mad man. Wondering if I should be giving her a bottle of BM in the night and just pump then? I don’t think she’s sleeping that great— she loves our bed but honestly loves it to herself so when I wake up at 5, she gets her most solid sleep until 8:30/9 every morning. Any crib transition tips for a mostly exclusively breast fed babe?

I wanted to say BIG THANK YOU for all the comments I received just over week ago under my post about concerns on not having enough milk and that I was giving him once a day formula to make sure he is full.
I listened to all the advices about getting rid of formula and to BELIEVE in my body that can do magic for my baby and will deliver him whatever he needs. He just turned 3 months on Sunday and looks perfectly fine and really happy and p*e a lot and it just feels so good 🄹
It gave me so much confidence that I believed in my body. He now eat just little bit more during the day every 2-3h, sometimes more , at night does 5h stretches which is okay and have lots of wet diapers.
sometimes one comment can change your perspective so thank you thank you!
And to any mom - please believe me we created life, we can also feed them! It’s crazy and magical but reall!!! šŸ¦‹šŸ™ŒšŸ¼

ā€œWhy do you trust donated milkā€
Why do you trust all these formula brands that have came out and told you they have heavy metals…
Did they tell you about the rising multi state botulism out break…
There are so many factors that MAKE MY SKIN CRAWL
and that’s okay.. because in the end it’s MY baby
And SOME MOMS CAN’T MAKE THE MILK..
like little ole me…
If I want to formula feed that’s fine
If I want to bottle feed donated milk
THAT IS FINE
I’m not here to tell you to never use formula BLAH BLAH BLAH
I simply just don’t want to use it because I have done my own research, and I don’t like it.
I remember my pediatrician telling me my baby is underweight.. he needs to gain more than just his birthweight back..
but they ā€œaren’t concerned about numbersā€ and that I needed to supplement formula..
IT LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE!!
I won’t be pressured to use formula… or even put formula in my donated bottles…
And I’d never pressure you to use a strangers boobie milk.. BUT ILL USE IT!!!
A fed baby is always the priority 🩷

Hi, FTM here🫶, 9 months postpartum. For the past three weeks, my milk supply has dropped drastically; instead of getting between 6 and 8 ounces per session, I’m now only getting 2 to 3 ounces. That isn’t enough for my baby, she’s teething and wants to drink to much milk specially at night, And today, my period returned for the first time since giving birth. In your experience—if this happened to you, too—when did your milk production recover? I’ve tried power pumping, Body Armor, Oatmeal Cream Pies, and various lactation drinks and cookies, but nothing seems to be working.
Thanks in advance!

My 2.5 month old has started very clearly showing favoritism to locations/ routine strictness in our house which I’m sure will bite me in the butt later down the road when she had to transfer to her crib but for now I think it’s adorable lol.
As we are preparing for bed time and getting her fed, night gown on, fresh diaper, sleep sack and owlet sock on, we normally settle in on my bed and she goes to sleep. I’ll transfer her into the bassinet and if she wakes up she self soothes back to sleep. Well tonight I wanted to try adding story time in her rocking chair before going to my room… well she was not having it. Squirming and fussing at me and vocally protesting lol. As soon as I sat down in my spot on the bed she was out like a lightšŸ˜…šŸ˜… definitely a fan of her schedule and made sure mommy knew. She’s the cutest what the heck. Anyone else’s baby have a favorite place to fall asleep in your house?

Moms who co-sleep, do you sit up to burp your baby after the feed, or just let them drift back to sleep while laying down? I’ve been trying to burp my daughter but she rarely burps when she’s half asleep so then I hold her upright for 10-15 minutes to help with reflux. I’m wondering if I can just let her go back to sleep… she tends to be gassy so I don’t want to make things worse. Thoughts? Pic of my baby for tax🄰

My girl here is 3 months old and we’ve been fighting this what looks like a rash. We’ve been using aveeno balm and usually it would go away but lately it’s gotten worse and she’s scratching at it all the time. It used to just be bumpy and rough but now it’s like bubbly. Her pediatrician said it was just dry skin and to keep using the balm but I’m still worried since it’s seeming to get worse. Any ideas what it is or how I can help her?

Hi everyone!
I’m a FTM so I’d just love to hear some opinions 😊
My baby is 4.5 months old and has slept like this since the day we brought her home (first picture). Long sleeve pyjamas, love to dream swaddle and then a blanket tucked tightly around her.
I have tried getting her to sleep in just her swaddle for naps but she kicks around a lot and struggles to go to sleep quickly like normal.
She sleeps through the night for 10-12 hours and has done since she was about 7 weeks old.
I know she will roll onto her tummy soon but I just would like to know if I should stop putting a blanket on her now or wait. I feel like I’m restricting her from the possibility of rolling with the blanket but she loves sleeping this way.
The 2nd photo is how I try and get her to nap (in her cot with a sleeveless swaddle and sometimes with her love to dream swaddle). Sometimes she goes down fine but most of the time, it takes her 20-30 minutes to go to sleep. I know she will need to be in a swaddle like this when she starts rolling but I’m just wondering if I should start transitioning now or just remove the blanket or just keep her as is and only do something once she starts rolling from back to tummy (she can roll tummy to back easily).
I know this was a very long post but I would love to hear your opinions.
Love an unsure FTM šŸ¤
